Annie Goodwin, from Seattle, US, recounted the ordeal she faced on her ‘first date of 2024’ and warned others to remove Hinge.
In a TikTok video, Annie (or @anniebadlose, as she is known on the platform) starts excitedly talking about meeting up with the man she met online, but before the date could begin, her car broke down.
What happened to the woman on their first date?
She explained: “I get to my car and it won’t start. So I texted him and he offered to take me. Normally, I don’t let men pick me up, but I’ll need someone to help me.” hop [start] My car.”
When did things start to go wrong?
But things got much worse for poor Annie. The video then cuts to Annie sitting in a loud restaurant and she explains, “Guys, she literally left me here.”
The camera then shows a rather delicious looking plate of food in front of Annie, along with what appears to be an Aperol Spritz; Noticeably, the seat next to her is unoccupied.

The video then returns to Annie’s house, where she says, “As you can see, the guy dropped me off. He picked me up and took me to the bar, where he ordered a drink. He drank the whole drink, then walked to the bathroom and I never came back.”
“There’s not much to say: he didn’t just order a drink, he drank it all, and then he drove off without paying, leaving me stranded. He left me knowing I was stuck because my car wouldn’t start, and he picked me up, right? He knew that He was trapped.”
“And they’ve already blocked everything for me, which is good. It was expected. But yeah, that was my first date of 2024 and it will be my last.”
Without finishing the experience, Annie added, “Also, can we talk about how she’s a therapist?”
