The carjacking that occurred in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter on Highway 107 in Sherwood took a truly terrifying turn, when Caudle allegedly attempted to snatch the woman’s child.

“The victim stated she began yelling at the male subject to get out of the vehicle and stated he reached for her daughter,” police said.

The mother grabbed the young girl from the truck, but Caudle allegedly refused to let go of her immediately, leading to a physical struggle. In the end, the woman got the upper hand and was able to get the baby out of the suspect’s clutches and to safety.
