A video circulating on Twitter went viral in August purportedly showing students inside a classroom holding umbrellas because of a leak in the ceiling. The clip shows a small classroom with students and a teacher, all apparently using umbrellas to protect themselves from the leaky roof.

According to the images, the classroom appears to be in poor condition. However, what is especially striking is seeing several students using umbrellas while attending class. The camera then pans to reveal the leaky roof, showing the children trying to protect themselves and their belongings from getting wet.

Many public schools are reportedly facing insufficient classrooms, inadequate sanitation facilities and a lack of basic amenities, making it difficult to create an atmosphere conducive to learning. Furthermore, these schools often face a shortage of qualified and adequately trained teachers. This shortage impacts the quality of education and the student-teacher ratio, making it difficult to offer personalized attention to students.
