Career
Ankur started working as a financial consultant at NIS Sparta in 2004. After a year, he left the job and started working with AT Kearney. He was part of ATK’s consulting team in India and managed projects across multiple industries, specifically media and entertainment, retail, real estate, private equity and oil and gas. He also worked at times in Dubai and New York.
In 2007, Ankur joined as co-founder of Accentium, founded by Vivek Pahwa. He later founded his own startup Groupon, which offers a global marketplace where people can buy virtually anything, anywhere, anytime. Ankur founded nearbuy.com in 2015 and was the CEO until 2019.
