Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) wrapped himself in an Israeli flag as he joined nearly 300,000 people gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday in support of the Jewish state as it wages war against Israel terrorists. Hamas.
The Pennsylvania Democrat was photographed at the March for Israel rally wearing the blue and white flag over his trademark hoodie as he greeted attendees.
Fetterman has been unequivocal in his strong support for Israel since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack despite facing some backlash from the left for his stance.
“Of course I’m here, how could I not!” Fetterman told a rally attendee, according to an attendee’s post X.
One sharp-eyed X user noted that Fetterman used the strings of his hoodie to don the flag in “the most bipartisan act I’ve ever seen from a senator.”
Fetterman’s fondness for the Israeli flag sparked several pro-Palestinian protesters outside the US Capitol last week, after the senator emerged from the building waving a small Star of David flag above his head as some protesters were arrested.

“Too bad! What a joke!” Some of the protesters booed as Fetterman walked by.
In his office, the senator also displays the posters of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during their deadly attack in which 1,200 people were also killed.
“They will stay awake until everyone returns home safely,” Fetterman said in a video posted on X.

Fetterman has also opposed a ceasefire in the conflict, which has reportedly angered some of his supporters and former employees.
“Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in its efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who massacred innocent men, women and children,” the former lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania said in an October report. Publication 18 in X. “Hamas does not want peace, it wants to destroy Israel. “We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized.”

Fetterman, however, has remained a harsh critic of congressional Republican efforts to decouple U.S. military aid to Israel from a separate aid proposal for Ukraine as it defends itself against the Russian invasion.
On Tuesday he asked his Republican colleagues in the upper house to cease their efforts to pass a stand-alone aid bill to Israel.
“Israel and Ukraine are experiencing existential threats. We need to send help to BOTH, and my Republican colleagues need to stop this nonsense,” Fetterman wrote on X.
“This is not a game,” he added.
