Gorilla stolen from garden center
The stolen gorilla statue is a large eight foot statue and was placed in a garden center outside Reynard’s Nursery, located in Lanarkshire near Carluke. Later, the large 8ft gorilla statue was seen traveling down the M40 on CCTV footage. The images show the huge fiberglass gorilla statue called Gary, which was taken by a group of thieves. CCTV footage shows Gary, a massive fiberglass beast, being transported in a black van north on the M40. Authorities believe the stolen Gary was driven from Carluke to the Glasgow area. The garden owner was later asked about the incident, Andrew Scott said: “The footage is very grainy but a white van pulls up and several people get out. Andrew Scott further added that when they looked at the CCTV footage again, a car pulled up around 10pm and it wasn’t a car they actually identified so they would say it was connected.
