An event was captured inside a clinic in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, where a thief was injured by his own hand in the middle of a robbery.
According to Mexican media, the criminal, after committing the robbery, shot himself in the leg in a moment of confusion, so he had to leave the premises limping.
The events were captured this Tuesday in a medical laboratory clinic located on Madero Avenue, in front of the Monterrey University Hospital.
Apparently, the man entered the premises to violently demand that the employees give him all the money collected that day.
To demonstrate his determination, the thief threatened those present with a firearm and even fired a shot at the ceiling to demonstrate his superiority in the situation, after some of the workers refused to comply with his ambitious demands.
This created a moment of tension in the clinic and finally the employees relented.

However, an unexpected event gave a dramatic turn to the situation. In the midst of the escape, the robber attacked himself in a moment of confusion, mystifying his victims.
According to the medium Newscastthe man shot himself in the left leg and had to limp to flee the scene, before the authorities made an appearance.
Using his own means, the criminal entered the emergency area of the University Hospital, located a few meters from where he committed his crime, to seek medical attention.
On the other hand, he learned that he had to undergo surgery to remove the bullet from his body.
He was arrested
Minutes after the incident, Monterrey Police officers, alerted by the community, detained the man at the hospital facilities.
At the moment, the man is in the custody of the authorities and faces charges of aggravated robbery and illegal possession of firearms.
