This important examination is conducted to recruit eligible teaching candidates for different educational institutions in the state of Odisha. These educational institutions include private aided schools, government schools and private unaided schools.

OTET Paper 1 Result 2023
Paper 1 of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test was organized on July 1 at various examination centers in Odisha. Also, numerous candidates appeared in the OTET Paper 1 exam. According to BSE Odisha, each question asked in OTET Paper 1 got 1 mark and there was no negative marking.
The I language questionnaire was available in Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali and Urdu. While non-linguistic subjects question paper was available in English and Odia. The answer key for OTET Paper 1 was released on July 7. Therefore, BSE Odisha is expected to provide the OTET 2023 result soon.
OTET Paper 2 Result 2023
The exact date to release the result of OTET Paper 2 is not yet declared. Paper 2 was also organized on the same date as Paper 1. Furthermore, the answer key of both the papers were also released together. Therefore, it is expected that the result of Test 1 and Test 2 will be released together.
Apart from the compulsory subjects, candidates were given the option to select the optional subjects for the OTET Paper 2 exam. Furthermore, the marking scheme and syllabus of these exams were also different.

- Visit the authorized web portal of BSE Odisha.
- Click on “Results” and open the link to download the OTET result.
- Enter the application number, date of birth, etc.
- After submission, OTET result will be generated.
OTET Cut Off Marks 2023
The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test cut-off marks are determined by BSE Odisha. OTET cut off marks can be checked through the authorized web portal of BSE Odisha.

Like other exams, OTET cut-off marks vary depending on the category of candidates. To obtain the OTET Certificate, general candidates must obtain at least 60% marks in the exam. While SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates need at least 50% score to pass the OTET exam.

After declaration of OTET results, BSE Odisha will also provide a merit list. The OTET Merit List will contain relevant details of the qualified candidates. The OTET Merit List will contain various details such as candidate’s name, marks, etc.

Currently, BSE Odisha is yet to announce the exact date to release the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test Merit List. However, the OTET Merit List is likely to be given after the announcement of OTET Results 2023. Furthermore, BSE Odisha will create this important OTET Merit List on the basis of the marks obtained by the examinees in the OTET exam organized on July 1.
