Rudy Giuliani interrupts Newsmax host to reject ‘absurd’ claim that he groped former Trump aide at Jan. 6 rally

Rudy Giuliani interrupted a question about Cassidy Hutchinson’s allegation that he groped her backstage at the 2021 “Stop the Steal” rally, angrily calling it “crazy” and “totally absurd.”

Giuliani was being interviewed on Newsmax on Wednesday when host Eric Bolling attempted to ask about the disturbing allegation in the former Trump aide’s book.

“Completely, absolutely false!” Giuliani, 79, said before Bolling could finish his question.

“Totally absurd. She claimed that I groped her in a tent on January 6, where all the people came in who were very, very cold as a result of the president’s speech… Am I going to grope someone with 100 people?

“First of all, I’m not going to grope anyone at all. And number 2, in front of 100 people?

Giuliani said he had “extra security” and “his entire staff surrounded me pretty much all day.”

“So I brought 10 people to the speech. They were with me practically every moment I was there,” she said.

“It’s completely absurd.”

In his new book “Enough,” Hutchinson described Giuliani as a “wolf closing in on his prey” and alleged that he slipped his hand “under my jacket and then my skirt,” according to The Guardian, which obtained an advance copy.

“I feel his frozen fingers crawl up my thigh,” Hutchinson said in the book. “Lift your chin. The whites of her eyes look jaundiced. My eyes are directed towards [Trump adviser] John Eastman, flashing a lascivious smile.”

“I fight the tension in my muscles and recoil from Rudy’s grip. [F]Filled with rage, I cross the store, in another search for Mark. [Meadows].”

In his NewsMax rant, Giuliani said Hutchinson’s groping allegation was “as crazy as a claim that the president jumped out of the seat and commandeered the car.”

He was referring to Hutchinson’s claim from last June’s hearing on the Capitol riot in which he said then-President Donald Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of the presidential SUV from a Secret Service officer in an attempt to meet with his supporters.

Hutchinson claimed that Trump yelled at the Secret Service: “I’m the fucking president! Take me to the Capitol now!
