Sameer began his acting career with the comedy-drama television miniseries TVF Pitchers as Ankit Bhardwaj in 2015. The following year, he appeared in the romantic comedy-drama miniseries Humorfully Yours as Varun Pathak for one episode in 2016. He appeared as Dad of Dhruv in the MX Player series ImMature in 2019. In the same year, he acted in the comedy-drama miniseries Hostel Daze as Hostel Manager and Cubicles as Mahendra Dhume.
Sameer also produced and acted as Maheshwari Sir in two seasons of the comedy-drama series Kota Factory. The Series India’s first black and white web series.
