Sanam wanted to make her career in dance, so she joined the Instituto Imperial Fernando Ballot Company to receive dance training. After completing the training she participated in a dance reality show called Dance India Dance. After that, in 2012, he participated in another reality show called Jhalak Dikhla Ja Season 5 as a choreographer.
