Shagun Singh was born on August 7, 2008 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh into a middle-class Hindu family. His father Santosh Singh works as a printer. While his mother Seema Singh is a housewife who left her job to raise children. It was she who encouraged her to dance. Shagun received dance training under Anil Tandi at Nritya Shiromani in Durg.

Career
Shagun Singh started her career as a dancer through the reality show Super Dancer Chapter 2 in the year 2017. She gained immense popularity with the show and reached the top 5 finalists of the show. Subsequently, she also participated in season 7 of India’s Got Talent.
Shagun made her acting debut with the television series Ashish Chhathi Maiya in 2020. The same year, she got the opportunity to appear in SAB TV’s show Balveer Returns, starring Dev Joshi. She also played episodic roles in the TV series Ek Mahanayak Dr. BR Ambedkar. In 2023, she played a lead role in Dangal TV’s Mast Mauli opposite Shahwar Ali.
