Shivya Pathania is an Indian television actress. She is best known for playing the character of Sita in the mythological drama series Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush in the year 2019-20. She has also played a lead role in Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha, RadhaKrishn, Dil Dhoondta Hai and Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka.
Birth and early life
Shivya Pathania was born on July 26, 1991 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Her father, Subhash Pathania, was a legal officer in the Labor and Employment Department in Shimla. Her mother’s name is Pushpa Pathania. She has two siblings, Divya Pathania, and a younger brother. Shivya completed her schooling from Hainault Public School and studied engineering from Chitkara University, Chandigarh.
Biography
Career
In 2014, Shivya moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in the glamor industry. She landed her first major role in the Sony Entertainment Television show Humsafars, in which she starred alongside Harshad Chopda. The show made her a household name among the Indian audience and she got the opportunity to play the lead role of Sanchi Sethia in the popular TV show Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka. From 2017 to 2018, she starred in the Zee TV drama Dil Dhoondta Hai.
Since 2018, Shivya has appeared in many mythological characters in television shows such as RadhaKrishn as Radha, Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha as Lakshmi, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush as Sita and Baal Shiv as Parvati.
