Believer will be inspired by Universal Pictures, Blumhouse’s, and Morgan Creek Entertainment’s upcoming picture of the same name. According to Universal, “Guests will be transported to a bustling street market in Haiti, where an innocent purchase of a strange folk doll with three eyes leads to the opening of a demonic portal, the awakening of sinister spirits, and the subsequent disappearance of two 12-year-old girls in the United States.” When the girls reappearance occurs, “it soon becomes clear that only an exorcism can save them – and everyone who comes into contact with them, including unwitting guests, is suddenly at risk of losing their souls.”

Ultimate Kill Count will be inspired by the killer doll’s film series and the USA & SYFY show of the same name. “A true sadistic killer, Chucky has been mired in the agony of disrespect he feels from his peers at not being taken seriously,” Universal says. “With this, he embarks on his quest to turn his haunted house into a living slaughterhouse by killing everyone who enters.”

Universal Monsters

Unmasked will transport visitors deep into the Catacombs of Paris, where they will face iconic villains from Universal’s filmography, including The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and his deranged alternate personality, Mr. Hyde, and Dr. Jack Gryphon, aka The Invisible Man.

“These desperate and dangerous fiends have become filled with rage towards guests navigating the twisted tunnels of their underground labyrinth home,” according to Universal. “In the dark, they seek these intruders and where the sounds of guests’ shouts will go unheard.”

What’s Next For HHN?

Universal Orlando will contain five original haunted houses exclusive to the area, increasing the number of houses to ten. This is how they are described.

Dr. Oddfellow: “In the 1930s Dust Bowl era, tourists won’t resist entering Dr. Oddfellow’s scary menagerie of twisted curiosities, where they’ll face grotesquely warped animals and weird friends…The cost of entering this spooky caravan is high since souls feed his immortal might.”

Dr. Oddfellow’s Collection of Horror: “With the promise of immortality, Dr. Oddfellow will entice guests into Halloween Horror Nights.” As he raises the veil on all the horrors to come, they’ll realize they might not even make it through the night.”
