What did the artists create?

A group of mosaic artists used an amazing 14 lakh colorful diyas (clay lamps) to build a magnificent representation of Lord Ram in his ‘parakrami roop’ (courageous form) and the Ayodhya Ram Mandir in Uttar Pradesh, ahead of the much-awaited consecration event on January 22.

The artwork also featured portraits of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the words “Jai Shri Ram”.

Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey told a journalist that a group of artists from Bihar created the artwork over the past week. He participated in the “Shri Ram Lalla Avirbhav Rath Yatra”, which began in Bihar.

The brilliant artwork, displayed at Ayodhya’s Saket College Ground, was created by artists affiliated with Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas. Choubey founded the trust.

“After being exiled for fourteen years, Shri Ram returned and an image of Lord Ram in his ‘parakrami roop’ (state of valor) was created in Ayodhya.”

The minister stated, “This is to send a message to the youth of new India that they should be ‘parakrami’ (valuable). Lord Ram appears in the form he had before defeating the demon Tadka. He demonstrates this magnificently.”
